Sequence of Operation
Primary Condensate Cooling
Three Way Domestic Water Recirculation Valve @ Building Return (Current reading 115°F)
Normal Position: Open to HX INLET.
Diverts to Boiler return loop when temperature of condensate after HX is above 160 °F (Current reading @ 150 °F)
or when the domestic return water temperature after heat exchanger is above 130°F
Secondary Cooling
Domestic water make up valve: normally closed. (Current Reading @ 50 °F)
Opens when condensate Leaving the heat exchanger rises above 160°.
Closes when condensate leaving the heat exchanger is below 160°.
Dump Valve normally closed. Opens to drain when condensate leaving HX rises above 160°.
Opens when return water temperature rises above 130°.
